Dione, Moon of Saturn
This image of Saturn's icy moon Dione was taken by the Cassini spacecraft. IT shows the southern regions of the moon. Many details are visible, including craters and long, winding canyons. Dione is composed mainly of water ice with a small amount of rock. It is thought to have a rocky core located somewhere beneath the thick layers of ice.
