Queen Angelfish

This image of a Queen Angelfish was taken by NOAA photographers in the Caribbean sea. The Queen Angelfish is one of the most colorful and most striking of all the angelfish species. The vibrant yellow and blue colors give this fish an almost iridescent appearance. Because of its bright colors, the Queen Angelfish is extremely popular with aquarium hobbyists. It is commonly found near reefs in the warm waters of the western Atlantic Ocean and can grow to over 18 inches (46 centimeters) in length.
