Miniatus Grouper

This image of a Miniatus Grouper was taken by NOAA photographers in the waters off the coast of Fiji. It can be seen here hiding below a pink and red soft coral. This colorful fish is also known as a Coral Grouper or a Blue-Spot Rockcod. It usually grows to a length of 18 inches (46 centimeters) and is popular with aquarium hobbyists due to its bright colors.
