Giant Anemone
These giant anemone (Condylactis gigantea) is a large species of anemone that is native to shallow reefs of the Caribbean Sea. It is found throughout the West Indies and the western Atlantic Ocean including southern Florida and the Florida Keys. It is also commonly known as the giant Caribbean anemone, giant golden anemone, condylactis anemone, pink-tipped anemone, purple-tipped anemone, and Florida condy. It can grow to a diameter of 12 inches (30 centimeters) and feeds on fish, mussels, shrimp, zooplankton, and sea worms.
