Hermit Crab
Hermit crabs can be found living both on land and in the sea. Their bodies are soft and lack a protective shell. To make up for this vulnerability, they use discarded snail shells to cover themselves. As the crabs grow larger, they must continually search for larger shells to change into as the old ones become too small. Hermit crabs are scavengers and will eat just about anything they can find on the reef.
