The Neptunian System

Our next stop brings us to the eighth planet, which looks almost exactly like the seventh. It is the same size and the same color. Unlike its distant sister, however, this giant blue sphere is marked by wispy white clouds, and an enormous dark blue spot. Like a giant eye it looms up from the blueness, reminiscent of the great red spot on Jupiter. A few tiny rings and 8 moons encircle the planet. One of these moons is quite large, and invites further investigation. This is the planet Neptune and its system of moons.
