The National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) selected Sea and Sky to participate in their sciLinks program. The sciLinks program provides links to quality Web sites for students to enhance their learning experiences.
Sea and Sky was selected as a featured site in Lightspan's StudyWeb as one of the best educational resources on the Web by our researchers. StudyWeb is one of the Internet's premier sites for educational resources for students and teachers.
HitBox.com honored Sea and Sky with their HitBox HotSpot award for the week of May 10. "You have created a site that is either interesting, superbly designed, very unique, or all of the above. Because of this your site has been chosen as one of our top HitBox HotSpots this week."
Sea and Sky received the Surf Monkey Star Site Award form the kid friendly Internet site, Surf Monkey. "Your site has been added to our 'Cool Sites' directory in our Kids Channel with a star graphic next to your listing to show your site is one of the best for kids on the Internet to explore."
Sea and Sky was selected as an Approved Site at Kidsites.com and featured as This Weeks Spotlight.

The 1999 Design's Eye Masterpiece Award was given to Sea and Sky by BaldEagleInfo.com. "Your site has an attractive layout, excellent graphics, great content, and is easily navigated. Sea and Sky was chosen to participate in the Embrace the Environment program at Bonus.com supersite for kids.
Itty Bitty Blackboard honored Sea and Sky with their Itty Bitty Blackboard OK Award for excellence in Web science. "We were swayed by the novel and nifty navigation idea."
Sea and Sky received the Griffith Observatory Star Award for the week of April 4-10 for "excellence in promoting astronomy to the public through the World Wide Web."

The National Academy Press chose Sea and Sky to receive its Coolest Science Site award.
The Dr. Matrix Award for Science Excellence was awarded to Sea and Sky by Dr. Matrix' Web World of Science for containing "quality content".
AquaScape Aquarium Hobbyist Magazine selected Sea and Sky as one of their Best of the WWW Aquarium Sites for the month of May.

Sea and Sky was featured on Westy's Roadside Attractions, a radio program on international short-wave station KNLS, which reaches listeners in 134 countries.
Sea and Sky was featured as one of the Digital Dozen for the month of January at the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse for Mathematics and Science Education.
