Coral Polyps Wallpaper
This close-up of a coral shows the tiny, individual polyps that make up the colony. These soft-bodies animals use calcium from the seawater to build their hard, internal skeletons. Over time, successive generations of coral polyps will build a coral reef. Many of the large reefs found in the seas today are many thousands of years old.
