This image of the Whirlpool Galaxy was captured by the Hubble Space Telescope. This amazing photo shows the galaxy's classic features such as the blue spiral arms, containing red nebulae and young stars, to its yellowish center, where older stars can be found. This is one of the most detailed images to be obtained by Hubble.
