A Lunar Goodbye

In this image, the Apollo 11 Lunar Module (LM) approaches the Command Service Module (CSM) for docking. After the astronauts transfer to the CSM for the journey home, the LM is jettisoned to eventually crash into the lunar surface. The earth can be seen in the distance.
