Footprints in the Dust

History was made on July 20, 1969, when Neil Armstrong became the first human being to set foot on the surface of the moon. To many, this simple footprint represents the greatest technological achievement of the human race, the impact of which has never been equaled. The landing of Apollo 11 on the surface of the Moon remains one of NASA's greatest success stories.
