Spiral Galaxy NGC 7742

NGC 7742 is a spiral galaxy seen face-on. It resembles as egg, fried sunny side up. This is a very energetic galaxy known as a Seyfert 2 active galaxy. Astronomers believe it may be powered by a massive black hole located in the galaxy's central core.
