Planetary Nebula NGC 2440
NGC 2440 is another example of a planetary ejected from a dying star. This star is one of the hottest known to exist. It can be clearly seen at the center of the nebula. Clouds of dust form the dark streaks and patches that give this nebula its delicate structure. |
