Planetary Nebula NGC 2346
NGC 2346 is a typical planetary nebula located in the constellation Monoceros. This type of nebula is formed when stars approach the end of their lives and eject large amounts of gas into space. The remains of the star at the center illuminate the gas and make it glow.
