Giant Green Anemone
The Giant Green Anemone is found in the waters off the west coast of North America from Alaska to Baja California. It can grow to a size of over seven inches in diameter. The bright green color comes from a symbiotic algae that lives inside the anemone. This algae uses sunlight to make food for both itself and the anemone.
