Longnose Hawkfish

The bright red markings of the long-nosed hawkfish enable it to hide among the sea fan corals. With this camouflage, the hawkfish will remain still until an unsuspecting shrimp or other crustacean wanders by. This fish is found mainly in the Indian Ocean where it grows to about 4 inches in length.
