Clownfish & Anemone
This clownfish has made its home inside the stinging tentacles of a sea anemone. Known also as anemonefish, clownfish are able to build up an immunity to the stings of the anemone. They often give other fish a false sense of security, bringing them close enough to the anemone for lunch. Their close relationship with the anemone is known as symbiosis. |
